About the Artist

Very little is know about Utagawa Harumitsu beyond that he was active between 1920-1950 and was a disciple of Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni). His work is quite rare and bears resemblance to contemporaries such as Ito Sozan and Tsukioka Kōgyo’s kacho-e works.
