Torii, Kiyomine

Kiyomine Torii (also known by Kiyomitsu II) was a painter and printmaker active during the early 19th century. The grandson of Kiyomitsu Torii I, Kiyomine became the student of Kiyonaga Torii in 1795. Working primarily in the bijin-ga genre (pictures of beautiful women), following the death of his teacher in 1815, Kiyomine became the fifth-generation head of the Torii school and assumed the name Kiyomitsu II.
